MBF MICROWAVE has a modern, well equipped manufacturing facility capable of the assembly of electronic systems to meet the most stringent military specifications. The manufacturing area has been engineered to provide rapid, efficient assembly at modern work stations manned by skilled technicians. A full scale machine shop provides the capabilities for production tooling and special support to manufacture activities.

RELIABILITY AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
MBF MICROWAVE provides a wide range of sophisticated military systems and components for the aerospace, navy, and ground environments. Our quality control system is based on MIL-1-45208, together with the applicable military specifications and standards:

DOD-STD-2000 are being implemented.

The accurate and reliable performance of MBF products in the field is assured by quality control, inspection, and testing activities. The quality control systems conforms to MIL-1-45208. DCAS inspectors assure rapid acceptance and test certification of final products. Reliability and maintainability are goals addressed for all products during design and development. Quality assurance monitors and controls each program from product concept through design, procurement, manufacture, test and delivery.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The new catalog highlights standard & special items. For other configurations, request data sheets on the specific series. All MBF switches utilize precious metal contacts and aluminum enclosures which minimize RF leakage. Indicating circuits are offered as an option on all series of switches. Our exclusive guarantee covers every unit for one full year, from date of purchase (assuming no evidence of abuse or misapplication).

LATCHING
MBF switches latch magnetically with the contact position being retained by a magnetic field. The magnets employed provide extra high resistance to the loss of magnetic properties throughout the operating temperature range, assuring higher performance and reliability than competitive units. Mechanical latching is an option which is ideally suited to applications where magnetic presence may affect the performance of other components in the proximity of the switch.

MBF offers as an option a solid state hybrid cut off circuit with a preset timing of 25 milliseconds average and 1.5 amp current carrying capacity on latching models. The circuit internally cuts off the power to the switch thereby preventing overheating of the coils. The fast recovery time of the circuit assures rapid switching speed. These circuits have been employed in MBF switches for over 15 years demonstrating outstanding performance and reliability.

FAILSAFE
Failsafe switches are normally closed in the specified position with the transfer of contacts occurring when power is applied. Upon interruption of power the switch returns to, and remains in, the specified failsafe position.

NORMALLY OPEN
Normally open multi-position switches have no contact continuity; each position is individually actuated by the solenoid and remains in the conductive mode only during the application of power. Multi-position switches are also available in failsafe and latching configurations with BCD controls.

WARRANTY
MBF MICROWAVE warrants products it manufactures to be free from defects in material and workmanship under conditions of normal use. If within one year after delivery to the original owner and after prepaid return by original owner, any product found to be defective, MBF MICROWAVE shall at its option, repair, or replace said defective unit. This warranty does not apply to products which have been tampered with, disassembled, modified, or subjected to conditions in which unit was not intended to be used in. This warranty does not apply to transistors, diodes, resistors and or related components.

MBF MICROWAVE reserves the right to make changes without notification to buyers of its products. This applies to any unit manufactured by MBF MICROWAVE in the past, present, or near future. In no event does MBF MICROWAVE assume liability for installation, labor or for consequential damages. This warranty is the extent of the obligation or liability assumed by MBF MICROWAVE with respect to its products, and no other warranty or guarantee is implied or stated.
